For Your Eyes Only: After a year in Cuba that nobody could've predicted we want your guess for what will happen this year. We'll lock it away and send it back to (only) you at the end of 2022.
Secretly tell yourself what you think will happen in Cuba, in 2022.

Much happened in Cuba in 2021 that wasn’t on any of our radar screens. We had a tip off on a few of the stories. But then out of nowhere, Cuba’s tourism took another hit, July 11th happened, Biden paused Cuba policy decisions, a relatively unknown rapper won the Latin Grammy for Song of the Year and Omicron kicked us in the teeth.

So now, as we kick off 2022 we want you to tell yourself what you think is going to happen in Cuba this year. Enter your prediction into our vault until January 31st, 2022. It can be serious or silly. Political or not. It’s for your eyes only. On February 1st we’ll lock it away only to send it back to you (only you) on the last day of this year.

Will you be right? Will you be surprised?

Only you will see your response. We’ll lock it away, in secret, in our private vault. You’ll get access to your predictions on December 31st, 2022.

Hola todo el mundo. Sometimes our stories are sourced from multiple people on our team. Or, we like to keep you guessing... You know... anonymous. And, for that, soy el escritora; "El Equipo." We exist to amplify the voices of writers, photographers, and content creators in the space between the United States and Cuba, and we also feature stories from Puerto Rico, Latin America, and the Latinx community in the US. Topics of interest are personality-driven and include pop culture and music, featured current events, climate and the environment, and travel and tastemakers. Oh, and of course we're always 100% independent. No governments, businesses or other influencing factors play a role in our work.
