Samantha Moody is a first-generation Cuban-American writer and editor from Denver, Colorado. Her father and uncles emigrated from Cuba in 1961. When she isn’t writing, or reading one of the innumerable books on her shelves, Sam likes to play around with baking and fermentation — she can make a mean loaf of sourdough or batch of hard cider! She currently lives with her husband and feisty kitty, Moonshine, in San Antonio, Texas. She has a MFA in Writing from Pacific University Oregon.
